I live in a small town in Washington State, USA, with my wife, two sons, two dogs, a cat, and family nearby. I work at the local community college as an I.T. Specialist. In March of '02, we bought a 70-some year old house that needed a lot of work. When I'm not working on the house, I like to throw pots, be outside, and read a lot.

Tuesday, August 16, 2005Future Study NookThe pine paneling will extend to the left of Bunk 2 to finish out this study nook that used to be a closet. I'm going to deepen the existing shelf and hang to under cabinet lights from the underside of it. I'd also like to build a desk sized shelf that can be lifted off its hangers and stored in the remaining eave space if future residents decide not to use the nook for a desk.posted by Scott in Washington at
