I live in a small town in Washington State, USA, with my wife, two sons, two dogs, a cat, and family nearby. I work at the local community college as an I.T. Specialist. In March of '02, we bought a 70-some year old house that needed a lot of work. When I'm not working on the house, I like to throw pots, be outside, and read a lot.

Tuesday, August 16, 2005Goodbye Janky Old LightI have to patch this hole in the ceiling. My plan is to put a screw into the middle of a chunk of scrap board, fit the board up into the hole, holding the board down against the ceiling screw two additional screws up through the ceiling and board on either side of the board. Take the first screw out, mud over the board, sand, mud, sand, mud.....posted by Scott in Washington at
