I live in a small town in Washington State, USA, with my wife, two sons, two dogs, a cat, and family nearby. I work at the local community college as an I.T. Specialist. In March of '02, we bought a 70-some year old house that needed a lot of work. When I'm not working on the house, I like to throw pots, be outside, and read a lot.

It's a dimmer switch. Small, lightweight, inobtrusive... I can plug it into an outlet and then use it to dim the lamp I plug into it. What will they think of next? My wife will be so happy when I plug the interogation strength reading lamp I use at night in bed into this baby and amp it back a bit. And can you imagine, our industrial arts people were going to throw this bad boy away?

  • How come the guy who pushed the fire button up on the bridge of the death star got a helmet that covered his entire head and face but the two poor shmoes who worked down in the laser beam room just got regular gray uniforms with half clamshell black helmets and had to throw their arms up like "gack!" when they blew up the peaceful planet?

    Longest question ever? Maybe..

    Yes, M. my office chair is really big. It makes me feel powerful even though I'm not.
