I live in a small town in Washington State, USA, with my wife, two sons, two dogs, a cat, and family nearby. I work at the local community college as an I.T. Specialist. In March of '02, we bought a 70-some year old house that needed a lot of work. When I'm not working on the house, I like to throw pots, be outside, and read a lot.

Window Treatment

Scott hung a curtain rod for me this weekend, and yesterday I finally put some curtains up. They aren't the fabtabulous creations of Beth at Housemade but they are up. And after three years, I'm counting that an accomplishment!

  • Very nice... Even though we didn't talk about it, apparently you read my mind. I was thinking white, semi-opaque curtains were the way to go. Maybe we can add something like the beths in the future to keep out like when thats what we want to do, but for now, privacy and still letting light it is the way to go. Yippie!
