I live in a small town in Washington State, USA, with my wife, two sons, two dogs, a cat, and family nearby. I work at the local community college as an I.T. Specialist. In March of '02, we bought a 70-some year old house that needed a lot of work. When I'm not working on the house, I like to throw pots, be outside, and read a lot.

Not much happening at the bean house yet. A few of the plants have taken off and are shooting up the strings but for the most part they're still a two or four leaf bunch of ground huggers.

  • I don't remember the name of the varieties. I actually bought two packages from different companies - both with pictures on the front of long green beans like you'd can or make into dill beans. mmmm..
