Working with mosaic tile turned out to be lot easier than it looks. I ended up doing an alternating black and white border that let me float the mosaic in the center of the room without having to do a lot of cutting or tight numbers.

The front hall potty gets a face lift. I tore out the wall paper covered fake wood paneling and what was probably the original cabinetry and caste iron sink. We think the bathroom was probably added later, after the house had been in occupation for some time.

I built this garden gate for a friend in May, 2010. Although I apparently have not learned anything about dressing standards or posture control I have learned that with gates, the smaller the pieces used, the better and that ripping things down with a table saw is fun and productive. I'm really looking forward to similar projects in the future.
