I live in a small town in Washington State, USA, with my wife, two sons, two dogs, a cat, and family nearby. I work at the local community college as an I.T. Specialist.
In March of '02, we bought a 70-some year old house that needed a lot of work. When I'm not working on the house, I like to throw pots, be outside, and read a lot.
hahahah...my ex had several plants in her office that only got the leftover coffee or diet pepsi she dumped in them at the end of teh day as she left...they were HUGE!
Thanks for the clarifying pic, Scott. You have proved me wrong. You CAN "coffee" succulents! (And apparently, you can "soda" them, as well - thanks, Merideth!) I'll remember that next time I'm about to pour days-old liquids down the drain...
I made that pinch pot in 2000, grabbed a handful of dirt and the plants out of an abandoned planter outside the building and the plants have haven't grown or died off appreciably since then - maybe the coffee is stunting their growth?
